I have been working lately on a few marketing pieces. These are fun for me because I love community and this is how I find a way to contribute. Lexington is a fantastic city- filled with such warm, heart-felt community.

Hopefully you find time to celebrate 25 years in business at Peggy’s this week on Clay Avenue. I’m a bit biased in my adoration for this Lexington treasure; it was the site of my first job where I packed shelves of invite sets and started planning for a line of my own one day. Peggy is the most gracious business owner I’ve met. I picked up invaluable lessons on how to treat customers with smiles and a can-do-anything attitude {no matter what, all the time!} in my days there.

The crisp fall air brings with it many community fairs complete with hot cider, game booths, pumpkin plucking and painting. Our downtown church on High Street is hosting a fall gathering end of this month, a, shall we say, FUN-day. I’m pretty excited about the opportunity to get a Harden family photo and check that off our to-do-before-the-holidays list.

Finally, have you hung with Penny? She’s the blond sipping champaign. You’ll find her at the American Cancer Society’s Purses Pouts and Pearls annual event. Be on the look-out, this event is always sold out, heads-up ladies!
